Idaho Falls

The parts of southeastern Idaho we drove through were very scenic.

Pocatello was the farthest West our trip takes us, so the rest is winding back.

A favorite stop on this drive was Idaho Falls. The Snake River runs through the center of town, and there is a walking area that runs alongside the river and a set of rapids and falls that is really pretty. We spent about 30 minutes just enjoying the falls.

Entering Idaho on I-15 North from Utah.

Very scenic views of farm and ranch lands with mountains all around.

Another hearty breakfast after a night at the Hampton Inn in Pocatello, Idaho.

Our first stop after leaving Pocatello was Idaho Falls, a beautiful town.

Next post: Join us for a breathtaking drive alongside the Snake River all the way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming!
